Hi, I’m Amanda, Please call me Mans if you like, all the cool kids are doing it.
Melbournian, Freelance writer, photographer, oddball,
Fashion fiend, Wife, Aunty.
I am a hippy at heart.
I believe in Love.
I grew up with the beach as my backyard and love the connection with the sand, sea and air.I believe in that feeling when you are with your family and you don’t have to try or pretend, you are you and fit in, that perfect piece in their puzzle.
I wanted to be a Teacher/Photographer/Mother.
I loved the idea of having a positive impact of a childs life.
I always remembered my teacher in primary school and what she had taught me and I wanted to have that impact.
I love the idea at freezing a moment, a happy moment.
Being an only child, I always wanted a big family.
The whole mum, dad and children at the dinner table. Together.

Having found out I have PCOS two years ago and being given
no information and shoved out the door convinced I cannot have children, heart
sunk. I have since studied up on it and can work on it.
I have worked in an office for the last seven years and have
been bullied to the point where thanks to good friends/family and inspiration
fellow bloggers, I started to believe that I am intelligent and
creative and decided to quit and delve into where my hearts takes me.
I am currently throwing myself into this blog, my photography,
study to be a social media manager and health coach and finding who I am after
so much time just going through the motions.
I LOVE:
My family. Home style magazines. Cheesecake. The Beach. Pasta. Parquetry floors. Gorgeous bloggers. The Beatles. Fashion. Daisies. English comedies. Writing Lists. Childrens books. Singing. Cups of tea.. and a bickie. Handwritten letters. Vanilla anything. Sixties.
